This Privacy Policy explains how Trusted Prenup ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our platform. Because building a prenuptial agreement means sharing sensitive financial details, we've tried to be specific about what happens to your data.
Creating a prenuptial agreement involves two people. If you provide information about your partner or another person, you confirm you are permitted to share it. Note that your communications with us are not protected by attorney–client privilege — we are not a law firm (see our Terms of Service).
We use your information to generate your prenuptial agreement, process payments, coordinate optional attorney review and notarization, schedule consultations, provide support, send service emails about your order and progress, improve the product, and keep the platform secure.
We share information only with service providers that help us run the product, and with people you choose to involve. These include:
We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect safety or our legal rights.
We treat questionnaire and disclosure data as confidential, encrypt it in transit, and restrict internal access to it. Your agreement and disclosures are shared only with the people you involve — your partner and, if purchased, your reviewing attorney.
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, some advertising and analytics technologies we use (for example, cookies that measure and improve our ads) may be considered a "sale" or "share" of personal information under certain state privacy laws, such as California's. You can opt out of non-essential and advertising cookies through your browser settings and through the industry opt-out pages of the Network Advertising Initiative and the Digital Advertising Alliance, or by emailing us.
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to run the site, and analytics and advertising cookies to understand product usage and measure our marketing. Your browser settings can limit non-essential cookies, and the opt-outs in Section 6 apply to advertising cookies.
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it. You can request deletion of your account and data at hello@trustedprenup.com.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to opt out of targeted advertising or the "sale/share" of your information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@trustedprenup.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and you may use an authorized agent where the law allows. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
The platform is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Our site may link to third-party websites and services. Their privacy practices are their own, and we are not responsible for them. Review their policies before providing information.
We and our service providers are based in the United States, and your information is processed there. If you access the platform from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the U.S.
Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above. Questions: hello@trustedprenup.com. See also our Terms of Service.
